Even if you can just add a carport that will help-the new owner can throw a shed in the backyard and now there's storage.

I bought a duplex in 2017 and turned a 12' x 12' shed into a 12' x 24' rental cabin. 

Are you able to shed some light on the good, bad and the ugly?

-Are landlords charging a little more if there's a shed at the property and a tenant wants to use it for storage purposes?

., I realize this is an old thread but I thought I would shed some light on how the calculation is conducted to determine whether you have positive leverage. 

I am certainly not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I work hard and anyone with determination can do that.

I'm getting feedback from friends that I need to open a separate bank account ASAP for them to deposit rents (minus management fees and expenses) into since co-mingling in my personal bank account is a bad idea.Could anyone shed some further light on why this is such a problem?
