Real estate has been the a roller coast over the years but the taxes benefit has always provided me a net gain.  

Real estate investing is a roller coaster, and all sorts of things (good and bad) occur that no real estate book or podcast or forum post can really prepare you for... but, moral of the story: when it comes to deaths in properties, it's definitely worth thinking about--because people have very wide-ranging reactions to it (everything from complete indifference to complete unwillingness to have anything to do with the house).

He has done a great job with the Renault Winery Resort, which has multiple streams of income - winery, golf course, ice skating rink (in the winter), and weddings.

But the emotional roller coaster has almost done me in!  

I use bulk pack lint rollers you can pick up off Amazon to collect any hair left on the beds, which is huge never-want-to-see for guests staying in your place.

From the day she moved in she's been complaining about the smallest things(its been 2weeks); one blind missing roller, missing lightbulb in chandelier, requesting a new fridge despite having a working one(i purchased a new one), AC is not cool enough and i just updated the duck and system is less than 4yrs old.

This landlording thing is such a roller coast ride and constant learning curve. 

I get a throw away pan, roller and brush so I don't have to clean it all.
