Mine turned out to be pretty easy because I had flex connections in place already and it was as easy as disconnecting the old electric heater and re-connecting the new one in its place. 

We're moving soon, and I had hoped that rather than relying on the moving company, which has already told me they won't disconnect the gas line for the dryer or reconnect it at the new place, there would be someone who specializes in this service--disconnect, relocate, reconnect.

. - absolutely, I mentioned the event on a prior post regarding property insurance.The tenant living in the unit had their electric shut off by the provider for failure to pay and upon re-connection was told to shut the main breaker off.

When it came time to tear out the kitchen, I put my two tenants up in a hotel for 2 nights while I installed the new countertop, tile floor, and reconnected plumbing (fortunately the cabinets were hung prior to them moving in). 

Even on properties where I originally set everything up in person there are times where the device loses sync and needs to be re-connected from within the account, or times where I add a new smart device later on.It is a huge PITA honestly because it's usually a handyman or cleaner that has never used the app and I have to walk them through the steps without being able to see their screen, but it's the only way I've found for doing it.
