For those who have or had section 8 investments (especially in my market) how would you describe your experience?

At the end of the day, whether small or large deals it always comes down to relationships.

I would start by finding areas you actually WANT to live and go from there.Picking a place to call home simply because it has a real estate market that you feel will fit your goals is a great way to end up miserable. 

I live a few hours away now but I'm happy to give you info about my experience there if that helps.  

While most of his experience is with new construction rather than remodels, he’s already given me a few pointers and is looking into potential referrals for me.

I feel that I don't have enough experience to know if I could do better or worse.

I am still reading books and talking to folks with experience to learn as much as I can.

I’ve been using platforms like Investorlift and FlexMLS to break down deals and run the numbers, and I’m always looking for ways to optimize my strategy.Right now, I’m particularly interested in South Carolina as an investment market, and I’d love to connect with others who have experience there.
