Once I take my dog for a walk, play with him, do some cleaning, and sit down to eat dinner, I'm usually brain dead for the day!

And then you'll be living in a 100 year old duplex and your wife is going to be asking you for a backyard for your kids and tell you to turn down the music when you're cooking dinner on Sunday night.

One thing we do is send them a Christmas card with a gift card for a nice dinner for the family.

We also do occasional team events (e.g something active in the nature or a nice dinner with the team).

And then invite her over for a nice home cooked Dinner with all the trimmings.Even if she says no--just because she is your Mom.And get her a nice little gift--all wrapped up--maybe some perfume--she would like that.Then maybe you can sit and watch a movie together--she would probably like that too.And I know she doesn't come over to your house enough, because if she did--you would not have to ask this on a forum.Just My 2 cents.
