Sometimes have to just pay the water cert, but that is less of an issue now that the Water Dept is in the 21st century.

I've just been looking on Craigslist and on various brokerage websites, like Keller Williams, Century 21, Sotheby's, etc.

I had a turn of the century house and it was a disaster so I get where you are coming from.

Depending on your reinvestment opportunities (return rate) and your opportunity/hurdle costs of other capital sources, an extra $2700 in pocket today, might be worth paying an additional 50K for the asset.One might also convince themselves it is a better choice to pay 2.5 times more in the way of interest (252K) in exchange for $1100/yr in pocket and the security of a fixed payment for half a century ... though, personally, the inflexibility of being corralled that long could never be worth it.  

I hear Century 21's is good as well.  

For example in my 1958 duplex, I replaced the 1980s laminate countertops with a new patterned laminate that evokes a mid-century design.

I'm a Realtor in Sarasota/Tampa FL area with Century 21 Beggins.

All class A with 21st century amenities and rents are crazy high- $1200/mo.  

Quite frankly however.. all Investing Agents know this one fact above all else...The Deal Of The Century Is Happening Today...Have a Powerful Sales Day!!!

The "letting the check clear" excuse is so 20th Century.
