The bank will be the decision maker in the short sale process. 

If your portfolio is a good deal you won't have an issue finding buyers.If you truly have control of a package is one thing, if you are trying to play match maker with no real control, that is a weaker position.

Grannie did pass away :( But about a year before, my mom and uncle had my grandmother ( still a conscious decision maker, but entering hospice) deed the house to them.

You may make really good money this summer (and that’s really good money) but a bank is unlikely to give you a loan if you don’t have consistent income, or a co-signer.So if you wanted to buy anything like a rental you’d likely have to wait until after you graduate and got a full time job.  

I will even consider a good independent cabinet maker with competitive pricing.

If my biggest money maker is wedding goers.   

But the real difference maker has been attending my local REI meetings.

A few nice extras like a coffee maker and snacks go a long way towards a good review. 

However, to make real money, you need to treat your first job like you are in training to start your own business. 

I have given up with mailings, and I am spending less and less time cold calling because most numbers I find for decision makers are not correct.
