When they see bookings drop or have to reduce prices, they'll get spooked and back out.

I live in southflorida and if i were to pigeonhold myself to this market, i would have much more exposure on any one property becuase the rents/and spooked investors would never cover the carrying costs on any one property.

If you want to test your understanding of a topic, try talking about it to see if you can make sense of it to someone new.Then again, the whole SEC thing spooks a LOT of people.

But the buyer could have changed lenders and just got another appraisal. ( with an extension to the contract)  But my buyers got spooked!

I totally understand being spooked, and I think you're doing the right thing by tightening your security, but I do believe you'll come out the other side of this without a problem :)
