Is there any silver lining in this?

I’m new to real estate investing and am interested in connecting with other investors out in the MD area (I’m located near Silver Spring).

Gallon of milk is up 20%, gas is up 20%, wages are in theory (lol) up 20%, gold/silver up 20%, bitcoin went up 1000% then dropped 980% 2 milliseconds later (good luck at that casino, and props if you win, someone has to), so it's up 20%, rent is up 20%, stocks on average are up 20%, you get the idea. 

You're in a small town, look into the social scene for small towns.To do this consider joining the Moose, the Elks, the Eagles, the Rotarian, the Free Masons, the Chamber of Commerce, etc...Figure out which ones are more business oriented vs blue collar--and mix and make friends....most are just drinking clubs so you have to be 21), be accepted and pay a yearly fee.https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2hwqok

I bought at the beginning of 2012 in Eagle, Idaho which is one of the most desirable suburbs of Boise.

Does anyone have suggestions on a good management company for vacation rentals in the minocqua/eagle river area?

Might be a silver lining how to help others avoid getting into the same situation.

@Ed Goble, there's no silver bullet here, unless you're willing to pull equity from the house you have paid off (which you don't) or sell it and buy something cheaper to live in (or a multi-unit) so you have a free and clear home (or cash-flow), and cash to invest.Otherwise, start building up the war chest to invest in the future.
