Account Closed Need advice on dealing with contractor
26 August 2021 | 25 replies
Depending on your contractor's reaction and if you feel he is not going to show for the meeting you need to be prepared to tell him that you would like to resolve the issues and if he does not attend the meeting and then provide you with what you think is a sincere effort to provide you with a resolution that he will adhere to then you will be forced to file a complaint with your contractor's board, consumer agency that has jurisdiction and possibly with your building department for building code violations. If the clown shows up for the meeting then you have a list prepared detailing the problems with the work, details in regards to the time extended beyond the contract completion date and then you present a list detailing the timeline you want the job finished and you want the contractor to sign your detailed lists, or have him create one that suits you.
