Lately I also learn that this problem is also affecting a nuimber of property in champion gate. 

My parents and I have acquired a piece of land in a good neighborhood AND inside a small gated community of eight parcels.

Most Condo HOAs are well-over $300/month because there is more common area and possibly a gate, but if you can translate those amenities into a $300+ increase in monthly rent, relative to a nearby SFR, then I guess it's not that bad. 

Adding something else into the mix with it as well so we'll see what happens.I would say that your experience is typically not the norm (getting a deal right out of the gate). 

Once I got it and started gutting it, gates and sections of the chain link fence started getting stolen.

I paid full price for $546,000 on a new construction 5 bed / 4bath 3900 sq/ft with a basement home in a gated subdivision adjacent to Sugarloaf Country Club.

Specifically, the home I'm interested in is located in an upscale gated community in Orange county Ca.

From what I've seen it has alot of cross traffic going through, People just traveling, going to the bus stop, Bums going to get cans out of the trash.A manager I know said to put a gate up to stop the traffic. 

I don't know if this is a scam, per se, but it does seem like they're trying to profit from you right out the gate, and that's no good.

Specifically two houses in a little gated neighborhood; 167 and 157 Angel Garden Way.
