For instance, in Harris county, Houston TX www.hcad.org you can find the current value of the properties you are looking to purchase.

@Alex Harris if you're going to enter into any real estate related contract with anyone, the National Assoc. of REALTOR's requires you to disclose that you are a REALTOR before entering that contract.

@Jarrett Harris - That was what I initially wanted to do but after about a year of looking for a multi unit in my area (Los Angeles) I couldn't find a deal that made sense financially.
