There are LLC registration jurisdictions like Nevada and Delaware etc. where it’s not expensive or difficult to keep up with the paperwork to maintain the dang thing, but don’t think you’re getting away with anything because it’s really a shell game: when you go to a different state to do business like to own a rental real estate investment there then you have to pay the local jurisdiction their foreign  entity fee which is identical to the local registration fee for an entity which is exclusively registered in that locality.  

Did the plumb specify the reason on the invoice. 

Four months into the policy I receive an endorsement letter and invoice from my Insurance agent that says after the carrier did an external inspection of the property they needed to increase the dwelling coverage by $90k to reflect the replacement cost of the property in today's market.  

We had a few large invoices, but several that were well under $2500. 

And know that I know more and look back on it, I'm dang lucky it wasn't more.

We got him on the phone to calm him down (against all pride and ego), and later that evening he sent an invoice of over $2,100!

I've also gone to even billing for that gas bill, so I send the tenants the same invoice 11 months of the year and the 12th month makes up for variance.A RUBS is an added layer of complication to the landlord-tenant (or PM-tenant) relationship.
