The $16k was what the judge ordered the lawyer suing the LLC to pay the defendants, their legal fees in the case (loser pays).

It is public information but they do not make it easy to find.I found it once before but had a hard time finding it again, and ofcourse it is different for every JP court where they keep the info..I was able to find divorce cases, but it only gives me the plaintiffs and the defendants name.
