The short answer is no.Financing will much more expensive and difficult to acquire for a 5 unit.What's the cost to build the 5th unit vs the cash flow differential?

It helps differentiate your property from a hotel for tax purposes - I can't find the exact article but this one has some of the info I'm looking for http://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/tax-issues-...I would suggest cozying up with a CPA to make sure you don't give away all your profits in the form of taxes.

There is a huge price differential between Manhattan, Buffalo and Lake Placid.There is such a huge difference in each city, and neighborhood, that it is hard to say all of Florida would work for you.Personally, I love Ocala, its smaller and slower than Orlando and there are some great deals on real estate here with a very hot rental market.
