most of bay area realtor attitude is like this, they create a condition in such a way that you would emotionally overbidding. realtor in other region doesn't act like this. one of realtor tactic is to making improper listing with lower price with the hope they get auction/multiple offers.you really need an agent that really work for you and understand your concern.do note that 2 BR is usually hard to sell here, especially with 2/1 setup.I would guess this is 2/1 950 sqft setup ?

So politically it's an attitude of "tenant not paying rent, then they gotta go and open that housing unit back up to someone who will". 

Here are my concerns:The pitch was a hard sell, coupled with what I can only describe as a “we are busy and have a lot of people knocking down our doors to invest so don’t ask questions, don’t miss out and just move fast” attitude.

I'm getting my license here in the next couple weeks and my attitude won't change.

This is not the attitude for an investor to have!

The guy is working within the system you set up, so coming to this with the attitude of “you are being irresponsible” isn’t going to help.

Again, my property managers insisted on drawing funds from rental proceeds.This disagreement went on for weeks.Our property managers did eventually contact our warranty company, but whatever was said caused our warranty claim to be denied which meant I was stuck with the bill.Out of pure exhaustion I gave up and allowed our property managers to deduct from rental proceeds who's attitude all of a sudden changed and stopped being argumentative.

As soon as lawyer and laws are threatened, my attitude will be very different than if the tenants are easy to deal with for dumb stuff like this.

Now we look for things like personal references, social media, attitude at the showing, what their car looks like at the showing, and other things that the old school housing providers used to look for. 

It just happens to be the default for folks that think they can buy the cheapest property on the market, put a section 8 tenant in, and chill.Unfortunately, those experiences lead to attitudes like yours.
