I shopped several companies that all had a really hard up-sell tactic and bad mouthed every other company. 

Worst thing you could do is finish the house then 2 weeks after your completely done then the odors starts coming back as it over powers all the other "new" smells that have dissipated. 

It is a Stall Tactic that is used by some tenants to stall the eviction process.

Do some more research on the tactical details of owning rentals and become familiar with the time and effort investment you'll need to have, even with a property manager.

With the high interest offered to tax lien investors along with the perfect storm of high property taxes and values, I doubt that the township needs to stoop to such tactics.

I've found that this tactic works much less frequently in RE groups.

Then, once I have that mindset, I apply those tactics that others are doing in my area to successfully close deals. 

Mike as long as your going into these deals with eyes wide open and have seen themthe carnage is when people invest like they did with Morris invest.. high pressure sales tactics don't look at the property not allowed to get inspections..

Its not a scare tactic this is serious stuff that really does happen.
