I should have clarified that I was referring to the instance in which the investor serves as his/her own management company, which seemed to be the theme mentioned above.We'll have to agree to disagree on your assessment that small multis present an "increased" management headache.

Some plug ins will conflict with each other.Remember to keep your plugins and themes updated just like I am sure you are doing with your WP install.
