The private lending world can sometimes feel like the wild West, but as far as industry norms go I would say that your lender is operating outside of them. 

This is wildly UNSTATED by at least 90% schlepping SubTo. 

It seems they want to be fully protected if by some wild series of events they ended up owning the property.

I’m about to be chasing the wild dream in the next week.

House hacking is not wildly "profitable" as it not going to get you rich quick, but rather the real way it is done, which is slowly.

I asked about a recent deal, and he was proud to tell me he’s just in the middle of his first.A local RE broker found an “old lady” who owned her home free and clear but with $83k in back taxes owed.

The next day I decide to go to the mobile home to meet the lady and to inquire about the home. 

I want to sell my short term vacaton rental in Wild Dunes (3 br/3 bath end unit villa) but can't find anything to 1031 INTO that would work! 

It's a different world from when I started. 40 years ago landlording was the open wild west.
