Doing quick fixes saves a lot of damagedon't like laying in cold water in a crawl space or running snake in sewer then also the vents on ice covered roofs in winter cause they are clogged to Recently got a call from a lady "water is running on floor " guess her husband who doesn't work couldn't get off couch to look at it or kill the water I love those calls :) This was in a tiny half bath They were nice enough to call some just let the water run.

We have friends (an older couple) who decided on one & an attorney friend who picked up a G.Dane pup earlier this year.The first couple now have an issue with the food & Vet bills as they are retired.Now their neighbors are upset because of the incessant thunderous barking.

I have since changed it to 5 days-I added in my lease that the sewer lines have been snaked prior to move in and tenant is responsible for any clogged drains.

Chances are it's not just the washing of sweaters in this instance, probably added to it, but normal use will clog a drain and I agree as to what you said, pull the drain apart and clean it, then run a snake down the main drain for a bit to make sure it is clean.
