I'm a net seller here, prices are rediculous, but then again, I did surf and wear shorts today, so there's a reason for the prices lol.

I see this one realtor surfing all the time, so I mentioned to him that I'm looking for motivated sellers at this one particular building (because it's the only one I can afford on Maui, and it happens to produce good cash flow - plus I know the building like the back of my hand).

Do your due diligence and learn more about flipping, surf the forums, read up on some good conversations, offer help when you can and ask questions when you're unsure about something and show that you're driven and serious to learn!

This is my first post on the forums (despite surfing the site for many months now), so please bear with me.As an up-front comment, we are considering the advantages/implications of property holding LLCs and trusts, but that is a topic for a different time.

When I'm not buried in real estate books and podcasts I can usually be found surfing (fairly addicted at this point) or generally enjoying the amazing outdoors of San Diego.

I work my normal job, my wife does her thing, and at night we surf MLS, Zillow, etc., because that's what we do for fun anyway. 

Any Multifamily or Commercial Real Estate Developers / Owners / Investors interesting in meeting up and going surfing while at the Mortgage Bankers Association Conference (Commercial Real Estate Finance / Multifamily Housing Convention & Expo) in San Diego either today (Monday, February 11) or tomorrow (Tuesday, February 12)? 

While surfing around Zillow, I noticed that the houses for sale (pre-owned and new construction) in my subdivision are selling for $10K-20K more than what I paid for my house. 

If you buy a house, please know that you'll have couch surfing in the undergrad community and your property will take a beating.
