"IF" someone had said that to me in 2019, I would have said "So, like another Spanish Flu of 1918 event?".

In a similar situation, If one of us had gotten sick with a cold or the flu, I think the idea of paying for the others to stay in a hotel would be absurd.

Stay safe out here, the hospital covid numbers are trending back up with this incoming flu season.
