You should not take the money from your checking, borrow hard money and buy property at this point.My advise is to go thru the motions, find a mentor, get an internship, or some other avenue to learn as much as possible from experts.

About half of my class if not slightly more have offers from their summer internships which pay the market rate which is still 160, with about a 10k bonus.

That's good news because she's currently doing an unpaid internship :p

The issue these days, unfortunately, is that usually their option is more like making a difference for unpaid internship with a stipend they can't live on or boring job that pays $15/hour or less to start.

The down side is I will have to start looking for internships or part-time gigs to gain the relevant experience and knowledge.
