Hello from Richmond, Virginia!

Hello everyone!

My name is Allison and I currently live in Richmond, Virginia. I am originally from Massachusetts, attended school at Michigan State University, then decided that it was time to defrost from the cold and migrated south to Virginia.

I must say that I am very excited and grateful that I have found the BP community! THANK YOU in advance:) So far I'm loving the podcasts, forums and @J Scott flipping book. There is so much information and knowledge here, I am thrilled to connect with such great, GENUINE people. (I will not even go into my experience with a "guru" except that I am powering forward and will not let them knock me down nor dent my "ego").

My father and I are gearing-up for our first flip! We plan to do this in Asheville, NC as that is where my parents currently live. We really need help with some good strategies for financing the project. So many questions, not sure where to begin!? How to get and stay focused with soooo much info and avenues?

As far as experience in REI, I am learning the ways. I have bird-dogged a couple properties (in Richmond) to other investors...that REALLY opened my eyes when we closed and I saw everyone's piece of the pie! I understand the numbers, I'm hungry (for more pie), I'm determined to challenge myself and eager to consistently learn and adapt in REI. My brain just will not stopping thinking about RE!

Anyone in or around Richmond, VA or Asheville, NC that would be interested in chatting!?!
