It is truly devastating, and I know so many amazing hosts/properties in that area.

You will find a TON of awesome people here on the forums representing our city who are willing to help you along your journey.My biggest suggestion would be to find some local meetups (https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/521/topics/1211616-virt...) and introduce yourself to the host.

Many in our STR mastermind are switching and going back to Hospitable or Hostfully. 

For instance, with STRs, why won't an investor spend an hour on AirBNB for their area to identify listings that:1) rank the highest2) occupancy 95%+3) ADR $750+4) hosts have 2+ properties5) listings are branded with 20k+ Instagram followersetcThen, reach out to those top operators; as many don't have the time or gave up on cold outreach, yet they've done the hardest 90%, have skin in the game, and outcompeted thousands of listings nearby.

One of the hosts , Stig Broderson, was a recent guest on the BP podcast on their new Sunday episodes.I think it is a compelling asset, and am interested in starting a position myself.

Short term rental manager aka co-hosting fees are usually 20-30%, mid-term 17-25%, and long term property management fees are 8-10%. 

I'm thinking of a client who is about to offer on vacation rental cabin in the mountains west of Colorado Springs, and they've got these great aspens off the deck that are blazing yellow right now.Hell, I could see three sets of photographs for the Colorado STR host who wants to go all out.

Also, I want to create an in-house store with Stayfi and The Host Co to sell themed merchandise and local vendor services.

And, a friend and I host two BP meetups here in Asheville, one on the evening of the third Wednesday and one on the morning of the fourth Wednesday.
