Now tell me who caused the Homeless crisis in Portland Oregon? 

Thanks Jeff C...i didnt get the "closing" call...my original closing date was october 31st...it was extended to november 14th...i was told yesterday that underwriters have an issue with the distance of job...they said that i will be residing in home less than 50%...therefore, it is appearing as an investment property to them...

We could be 'homeless' for a few weeks and dealing with moving our stuff out of state, but could make it work.  

One of my dreams with real estate (after I have more deals to cover the costs) would be to do something along the lines of buy some land, put up a bunch of tiny homes, and rent out at/below cost to help people like homeless veterans get back on their feet.

There was an article the other day I read that discussed how some realtors are starting to complain that they are not enough homes for people searching.On top of that I feel like the Hilltop community with grow even more as Tacoma pushes the homeless to a new area.

This has happened to me a couple times, once a tenant died and some homeless people ended up with her keys.

But in the meantime, I am keeping the units as livable as possible, including installing new stoves, new carpet, new paint, new sub floors, etc...To answer your question, yes, I have given homeless sleeping bags, I have put up homeless in hotels, I have bought meals for the hungry, I have even had them sleep in my house.

for me, homeless people/squatters, OMG this is a truly serious issue in California.
