I think if you did this I would just give pool and hot tub access to the people in the main house to alleviate any confusion.

It replaced the original SmartThings hub, which is confusing, but I have had both and they both work seamlessly with SmartThings software.

Adding to the confuse is the misuse of the term flipping, which as it is used today is actually “fix n flip” or “rehab and sell”.
