Llewelyn A. New Broker - How to do learn Brokerage Operations
14 January 2018 | 29 replies
It's funny, but when I make an analogy about something I did with a financial transaction to my friend who is an Emergency Doctor, he always tells me that's not apple to apple... in the Emergency room, the patient can die.... the Stress level is vastly different. In this case, Yes, my Brokerage can get sued, but no one is going to die.I would say a better analogy would be going Pro Se (acting as your own lawyer) from reading books, hoping to win a case in Tenant/Landlord court in New York City.I've done that twice. The first case the tenant did not show up.

I started my first 'business' at preschool at the young age of 4, when my grandfather and I would buy candies from the dollar store in bulk and I would flip them for a Profit.... at 10 I started selling Pokemon and Yugio cards, at 13 I began flipping things on eBay and buying and selling miscellaneous items from garage sales, at 15 I started Vic's iPhone Xessories, 17 I established Vision Creator Social Media Consulting (as well as creating other multiple side businesses during these years as well).......Currently, I am an 18 Year Old (about to turn 19) Entrepreneurial Hustler here in Sacramento, California and just graduated high school about 6 months ago.
Ashley Victor Use a realtor or just post on MLS with flat rate listing?

It is sad to say that many agents don't go that extra mile - they put in on MLS and hope another agent will find it and make an offer.Put the terms in the listing - sold in as is condition - accepting only cash offers - make it attractive - owner will contribute $3,000 to buyer - all furniture included, will give a home warranty, come with old car in the garage (we call all of this contract candy, will consider lease option, can help with seller financing, will give $1,800 credit for new appliances, bonus to agent of $1,000.You need to be different ---- as an auctioneer in Baltimore - we use all kinds of incentives to sell properties, your listing needs to be different - We had an auctioneer go to a used car lot, made an agreement with the salesperson to bring the car to the auction and if we sell the house we'll buy the car - at the auction the auctioneer says "if you buy this house you get that car over there that is running and ready to drive.

Nice city, beaches and great eye candy too 😉 And yeah, that’s where the wife and I want our second home, but it’ll cost us at least $750k for a decent 1BR, and that’s in a non high rise.
