Drive-to vacation rentals should flourish through the entire affair, because 1) Folks still would like to vacation, and 2) Said folks resist flying, due to both economic and safety reasons, and 3) they would much prefer staying in a home instead of a hotel, for safety reasons.It's the perfect storm for vacation rentals in drive-to destinations.

I don't know if there are any specific requirements relating to Veterans affairs and being a landlord, but once you have your property ready for rent, you could contact the VA and ask them for guidance on listing your property.
