I have been focusing on cities in and around New Orleans such as Westwego, Gretna, and even Hammond which is where I attended Southeastern Louisiana University for undergrad.

Window replacement business sometimes looks to me like the aluminum siding business did a few years ago.

Aluminum doesnt rot it corrodes

Spend the money on electrical as its best not to mix copper and aluminum wiring. 

Also, fiberglass screening is much easier to work with than aluminum, though aluminum does tend to last longer.  

The electrician fixed the issue but noted that the wiring is aluminum and that there are outlets specifically made for aluminum wiring and that these should be used throughout the property. 

I don't think this helps you, but I did a common area stairwell in LVP and used aluminum nosing on the treads with 1/4 round holding down the inner edge, terminating the LVP inside the balusters.
