Also, fiberglass screening is much easier to work with than aluminum, though aluminum does tend to last longer.

The electrician fixed the issue but noted that the wiring is aluminum and that there are outlets specifically made for aluminum wiring and that these should be used throughout the property.

I don't think this helps you, but I did a common area stairwell in LVP and used aluminum nosing on the treads with 1/4 round holding down the inner edge, terminating the LVP inside the balusters.
