Last, but not least, I was told that Phil is a Christian and a man of God and that he truly wants what’s best for me and to help me because he and I are brothers/God’s children and God is calling Phil to help me.

It is currently on the market and we are working with a qualified intermediary  for a 1031 Exchange and looking for financing for two to three new properties to buy and hold for the children and their children and beyond.

What's your children's education worth? 

My goal is to actually live in the property and house hack 2 rooms while continuing to homeschool my children (ex and I are no longer together so living next door would be a very ideal scenario while raising the kids) once the repairs are done. 

The informed dribble out our wealth to our children when they need it most- match earnings when they're young in a Roth, then help at major milestones up to their mid to late 30s.  

I would absolutely entertain the house hacking idea if not for my wife 2 children.

The parent choosing to keep the temp at an unsafe temp with children could be a sign of mental health issues and they may need to take the children away to keep them safe. 

I want to pay my credit cards off ($15k) and adopt children (estimated to cost $10-15k) My company will reimburse me the adoption fees, but not until it's finalized so I am hoping to do a HELOC so I can re-use that monies later on for bonus items like a pool or something fun for the kids.

But, I am finding I have such an emotional attachment to this house we lived in for 27 years, raised our children.
