There are facebook groups for tax pros- Kind of nice to have because if you're self employed it lets you bounce thoughts off other professionals. 

It's about gathering peoples perspective and bouncing it off your own.

I really like the Bigger Pockets platform to bounce ideas and experiences from others who are actively investing.

Hey everyone,BP is an awesome resource and I am looking for some feedback on getting a strong RE accountant with great financial planning skills.My current situation is not overly complicated, but I am looking for someone that I can bounce ideas off of, provide input, and can best help me plan strategically each year (before tax time).

I normally bounce around from Countrywide, American Family, State Farm and MF specific providers.

Then, as William Baumann said, or at least bouncing off of his idea, if all else fails, just pay $50 for an option period of 7 days and hire an appraiser to be there on the first day so you can have a confirmed ARV.

We could all bounce our opinions are various facts about each city here (I have plenty of them, believe me), but a successful real estate investor can make money in (most) economic climates.

If I can't get to down to less that 7, what kind of tax implications am I looking at knowing that I can't bounce that property from Sch C to Sch E and vise versa?
