I may have a very different feeling and belief system...there are many tax traps in self directed IRA's.

Proper winterizing would have drained all water from pipes except for traps; traps get RV anti-freeze added to the water in the trap.

However, the language in Section 199A itself seems to disallow that; my interpretation is that it requires each activity to be evaluated independently unless the activities can qualify for aggregation under a new scheme in Section 199A.

Don't fall into this trap and ignore the fact if we have even a small recession the US has HUGE problems, far greater than 2007. 

I had traps set in the attic, crawlspace, and exterior with limited success. 

The odor will also be trapped in the dust and dirt that are attached to the interior of the fan and ducting.

Obviously, you run the risk of sinking your money into a value trap in a C neighborhood, but can you get a 15% IRR in B neighborhoods?

I feel like... how can I, in good conscience, not try to help them break out of the pay-off-my-mortgage trap? 

as for insects, litter the place with diatomaceous earth (makes the most sense between tenants, but can be used around humans and pets)worse problem with much contact is dry skin/rash.the powder is crushed diatomes (creature shells, chemically silica-ish) in effect it's micro shards of glass which wedge in the crevices of the exoskeletons. so bugs eventually get clumped up with the stuff and can't move. and sometime pierces the innards. so either way they die.it's organic, non toxic. just don't wallow in it, and don't let kids/pets play in it.
