@Faisal Mohamed I've owned apartments in Troy for a few years and can confirm the "mixed bag" you reference. 3rd Street and adjacent as well as the Emma Willard area are worth a look. 

To further address, those markets differ from areas near the airport, such as East Point, College Park, and Hapeville.

Highland Park is already a market that's already plateaued for the most part -- it's great because market rents are higher than most other adjacent areas in Northeast Los Angeles, but I'm worried my property won't appreciate as quickly.

Yes, planned changes can affect a neighborhood positively or negatively.... things like changes in airport traffic, road expansion, putting in a new community park, new construction building and more...

Chances are lower you know someone who knows you, loves you, trusts you to buy a million sqft warehouse at the airport.
