My tiny 1BDR apt. at the time in Santa Barbara was $1K/mo  One person making minimum wage should have been able to afford that house.  2 people making above minimum wage should have been able to save money rather quickly to buy something bigger and better.

What really concerns me is the price people are willing to pay for new homes in class C areas.  700 to 800K homes with tiny lots in Hayward neighborhood surrounded by industrial buildings.

I generally use Rheem/Ruud as the price is only a tiny bit higher than Goodman and I've had no issues.
