Hey @Michael Oliver, I've used Mark Lawson for Hardwood installs and restorations.

Then, on the main floor (LR/DR area) I installed hardwood floors and installed myself (purchased materials for $2/ft). 

For example: with rentals, will you refinish hardwood or just use carpet?

Impressive interior boasts hardwood floors, granite counter tops and multiple updates.

It used to be good enough to put in fresh carpet and paint, now people want granite counter-tops, ceramic tile and hardwood floors.

He left the house in total mess with repainting needed and carpets too dirty to clean so I am installing bamboo hardwood.

There are some fairly deep scratches in the hardwood floor but unless I want mismatching areas on the floor I must buff and refinish the entire unit.

It was a beautiful structure built in 1910, and was 8 bedrooms, 2 baths -with hard wood flooring throughout from what I could see on the internet. 

Everything in the northeast is hardwood and carpet with tile only being in kitchen areas (and even then hardwood is often prevalent)  In florida, tile is EVERYWHERE.  

We have put down vinyl planks in an entry way and in a unit that had  painted hardwood floors and have been happy with the flooring so far and plan to use it on everything else in the future.
