I would hardly call what the OP suggested a scam to defraud sellers.

Usually because they are making so much money on their scam that they can afford to.

Hey all - A little late to the game but I am part of this defrauded group who has been lied to / scammed the past 18+ months.

I would say scammed but your word blankets what you're saying WAY better.  

Not to mention avoiding the various frivolous suite attempts as any good scammer checks just how "juicy" a mark can be first and when finds the co own nothing, 0 assets, why waste the time to scam a company with 0 assets. 

But many of these are scams.

Sounds like a scam to me as $1750 mo. is extremely good for an 89k property here in Tampa Bay.

There are so many scams out there and with all the ads showing at the top of every search, it drowns out the rest. 

Even if it eats in to the “cleaning fee” scam.
