I can't speak authoritatively (well, I can sound authoritative, but it wouldn't add any additional likelihood of my being correct :), but I would highly recommend running this scenario by HUD or at least by a buyer's agent before doing this.Certainly, buying a house for your son seems close enough that it should qualify as OO, but I'm guessing it violates the letter of the law, if not the spirit of the law.No reason to take a chance when it's pretty easy to just ask first...
