But, I have a good vision of where I want to take the building and we will do that one step at a time.

The ones that fit my vision/ business plan I have listened to multiple times.

Real estate investing carries risk and people need to acknowledge that, also if you are a true entrepreneur at heart you will find a way to succeed, not everyone will try as hard as you, and most will probably give up because they don’t have the heart to see the vision through.

I did not realize, though, that I might have a problem with local lenders now that I am not in the area.I still have accounts with SEFCU and Visions, so I figured I'd start there.

Additionally, it would be nice to meet like minded people in the Dallas area with the same visions of success.

Look further out in peripheral markets or find properties that have serious problems that you have the skillset to remedy is what a lot of other investors including the institutional outfits are doing so as the small guys we have to be willing to go further out or take on bigger problems... or be patient.

This is my first step and I know my vision is ambitious. 

I am a basic buy and hold guy, so when I met people who wholesale, flip, lend, and broker deals my eyes opened up to a whole new world of real estate business.I think the first step after your education is getting boring, is to come up with a vision of how you want your real estate business to look, i.e.
