I just had a GC repair all the rotten wood on our exterior trim and now need to hire a painter to scrape and paint the exterior trim.  42 windows, so big job.  

Yet, she told me to contact her staff directly, not bothering to supervise her subordinate, who barely replying my email.For example, I need tree trimming and fence repairs, and her staff took 3 weeks to give me estimation cost, and no specific schedule when to perform. 

Then you will have any new/changes to framing, plumbing and electric rough-ins, insulation, drywall, trim, doors, flooring, paint, finish plumbing, finish electrical, at a very high level.  

You mark out the rough opening, cut out the blocks in question, install the door framing which generally should be a steel lintel but could be framed & headed), then install the door and trim it out. 

These houses still have wood in the roofing, doors (could be fiberglass/composite), and trim but just an all around better way to go for investors.

Two needed nothing done, one needed paint and a bit of trim work, another paint and new flooring and the other well it was a mess and we ended up doing way more than planned (new bathroom, we'd planned for the kitchen and some flooring).

Cutting grass or trimming trees might not be 9-5 either…:)

In my experience, usually the city will trim the roots or remove the tree and repair the sw themselves.

When they do remove them they need to do it professionally and carefully as to not to damage the trees and cause them to fall due to improper trimming.
