(Keyword research, competitor research, surveys, speaking to prospects on how they heard)If your research proves that there is demand, I would recommend you  to either hire a good agency who has proven track record in your industry or  hiring a fulltime  employee with relevant seo skills who can manage this.SEO/Paid ads with consultants or agency would be challenging as the results depends on various things such as your website, market, content, offer etc.

Last- don't feel like you have to do it alone- partnering with someone once you get to know a few folks with complimentary skill sets or things they can offer (time, expertise, money) can be a great way to work. 

Also combo that with programs to create more entrepreneurs so they can take their skills and exponentially use them.

Zillow is very common but beware that a lot of these sights don't give you vital information and only give you a "Renter Score", not an exact credit score or other vital info.
