I suspect most class d STRs/MTRs would struggle financially.  

With everything pretty much being new I feel reasonably good and have somewhat of a “it’s meant to be feeling” with the original buyer struggling to get the funding together to complete, allowing me the opp to finally secure.

That may be the most practical resolution but if they stopped paying interest they may be struggling with liquidity.

I’m struggling to find good data on MTRs.

When I was self-managing, my listing was struggling from a performance perspective so I ran FB Ads and spent $300.

Also interestingly re: ranking, I've been struggling with VRBO ranking in the last 6 months.  

Many hosts struggle at the beginning because their listings don’t match the local market, so taking the time to get this right before launching is crucial!
