Have you considered weeding out some of the losers in your portfolio that have high expense costs and then selling them .at this scale I’d rather have an apartment complex with a lot of units in one lot over a pile of random houses scattered across town.

The current adherents of "philanthrocapitalism" have brought this to almost an art form.I'm far from a philosopher and so my own thinking on the topic is scattered and inconsistent. 

And municipal "code" may drive folks to store their goods offsite versus having them scattered around the house.

If you are going to buy and hold for long term rentals then you are fine in Parkersburg and other small cities/towns scattered throughout that entire region.Rural housing markets are definitely buyers markets with hundreds of homes sitting on the market.

Sorry if the below sounds like a rant but this is starting to drive me bananas.I've been looking to set up some asset protection as I have 11 buy/hold residential rental properties that are scattered across 3 states, as well as a flipping operation in Maryland.
