Question: Should I pursue my real estate license?

I'm planning on quitting soon, moving back home for a little and taking a few months in between my next job to pursue my first investment.My rough idea for an investing strategy is:  long-term, not necessarily looking for high cashflow (just want to start building equity), quality deals > amt. of doors, Class A/B neighborhoods mainly for low vacancy. 

Hopefully those who don't pursue it with the passion and zeal of many in this community don't complain about income and wealth distribution bell curves later in life. 

I would only get licensed if you are going to pursue it.

Any recommendations on mentors on how to pursue this endeavor?

If they are all full then maybe pursue your idea. 

I would pursue MTR and see if there's any way to do it.

@Elias Azo, I suppose I'm a biased real estate agent, so take everything I say with a grain of salt; however, I would highly encourage you to pursue/accomplish your first house hack during Q4 or by the end of this year.

Obviously the ADUs are capped at 750 SF.My client and I are pursuing this option now! 

If you want to be active then I'd start with a market and niche you want to pursue.
