If your rent is not received, present the notice to cease on the 5th with the requirement of the late fee and a warning of prosecution of eviction and the collateral (reported) consequences.

I only use EXTERIOR cameras and I also put in the lease agreement a section on security, specifically audio/video monitoring and explain that it's in use 24/7/365, via CCTV and all footage can and will be used, when requested by any law enforcement officer/agency, in the prosecution of crimes possibly or actually committed on the premises or within view of the camera .   

Get your documentation together and go see the DA, Sheriff - whoever prosecutes CRIMINAL FRAUD charges.

If you mess up and do something unethical the Department of state will come after you and fine/prosecute you within the law (Like advertising a house you do not own without a license). 

Or are they gambling that the understaffed SEC won't prosecute?
