Is there still enough time for me to make an offer and get the foreclosure postponed so I can get it under contract?

If you're starting a business, it may be prudent to postpone real estate investing.

They seem like nice people.I won't have to deal with a turnover & can postpone those expenses - finding a new tenant, vacancy, prepping the place for new tenants, etc..Negatives:Right not, I'm over flowing with inquiries to rent the place.

This article from 2015-16 time frame has some great data to support its conclusions  that "a majority of millennials would prefer owning to renting, but they appear to be postponing homeownership because of real and perceived difficulties in affording it."

If a small, but higher than average, audit risk bothers you - then you can postpone claiming these expenses until next year.

These losses are not wasted but merely postponed until you sell.

Sale dates get postponed or placed on hold for a variety of reasons.

So, if you got a property under contract with the seller (prior to the auction date), do you know if they are likely to postpone/cancel the auction?
