Thinking my cell phone is not working and maybe I missed some emails, I went back home to check my emails on my laptop and did not see a single email from them.

Someone could be here from Nepal who is a doctor in their home country but wishes to complete residency in the USA, and is completing a Step 1 or Step 2 exam.Point is people will do things such as take people's laptops or backpacks. 

Town homes are abundant here and often offer more sqft. and modern updates at a cheaper price.

If you plan on keeping them in good condition, with relatively modern amenities to get top rents, that means you will likely be redoing the kitchen and bath every 15 years or so.  

Have your broker check American Modern.

I was one of the first in the area to build a modern home about 6yrs ago, now people are looking at me wondering why my new builds are not modern. 

The entire interior was repainted a lighter modern color and LVP flooring was installed.

Modern kitchen, latest fixtures, blah blah.  

Again, not to say there can't be bigger issues, but I have had more issues with the quality of construction in modern updates than I have ever had in the original items.
