I generally would not invest in a place that is declining in population but if you are going to live there then there can be exceptions.  

However if money was transferred to these companies investments and they went bad..

If they want your money, @Pavan K., why aren’t they offering you a stake in the partnership?

Since you prioritize appreciation over cash flow, focus on DFW areas with strong job growth, infrastructure investment, and limited housing supply—such as Frisco, Arlington, and Rockwall.

If the buyer is losing money on his investment, and walks away without gain, then by definition there is no “equity skimming”.  

With Laundromats the the machines are your money maker (I know duh, but hang with me).

I am active duty military and plan to use the property for deployments/holidays for my family to stay near relatives until I separate in 4 years, then to use that property as one of several future investment properties.
