Even the gut job properties are listed and go pending very quickly because there is a lot of money to be made in the region.Albany - There is an area in Albany that is convenient to both numerous hospitals and colleges.

So you must gut check yourself to make sure you have the time and the capacity to take on such a project and deal with 5 times the tenant issues.

Stick to your guns and your gut!

I have a property that I'm looking to hopefully get under contact soon, but the property is completely gutted and the owner lives out of state and doesn't have any recent photos of the inside of the property.

Gut rehab, all new kitchens, bathrooms, all new EVERYTHING.

My first property I bought here was in horrible condition and a complete gut job.

@Vaughn Smith that’s definitely reassuring to hear, especially since we are pretty much doing a gut reno and adding new appliances and finishes that will hopefully attract a higher end tenant. 

In this instance, I chose not to include those since I replaced everything in the home, almost a gut out. 2.
