If you're on the road for 2-3 weeks it could be rented out especially in the areas you're looking at, many outdoor enthusiast may be interested.

Train tracks, gun clubs, air strips, double-yellow lines, shopping plazas, school zones, flood zones, cemeteries, landfills, etc. 

Shots fired, streets closed off, SWAT team there for a hostage situation.And just further north in Woodlawn a gun battle with CPD and some bad guys.
